From Code to Matter
Before founding Matter Crafter Studio, I worked as a software engineer. My days were spent inside systems—writing code, solving abstract problems, and living through screens.
During a difficult period of anxiety, depression, and isolation, I began to understand how far I had drifted from physical life. With the support of my family, friends, and doctors, I slowly rebuilt myself through exercise, reading, disciplined routines, and contact with the real world.
I did not leave that experience with a grand answer. I was left with something simpler: human beings need contact with what is real—with weight, texture, light, movement, and objects that can be held.
That realization became Matter Crafter Studio.
Jewelry is small, but it is deeply physical. It rests against the skin, follows the movement of the body, catches light, and quietly becomes part of a person’s life. For me, creating this studio was a way of returning from abstraction to matter—and of making that return meaningful.
Matter should not become a cage. It should be something we understand, shape, and give meaning to.
From code to matter. From abstraction to something you can hold.
